Scripts
Rite includes separate .jsx scripts for the main actions, so you can assign After Effects keyboard shortcuts to them.
The easiest way is to use Scripts Manager inside Rite.
Scripts Manager
Open Scripts Manager from the Rite panel.
There you can:
- install selected Rite scripts;
- remove selected installed scripts;
- install a small core set;
- open the scripts folder.
After installing or removing scripts, restart After Effects so the Keyboard Shortcuts list updates.
Manual Install
You can also install scripts manually.
Use File > Scripts > Install Script File... in After Effects and choose the .jsx files you want to add.
Or copy the .jsx files directly into the After Effects Scripts folder, then restart After Effects.
After the scripts are installed, open the After Effects keyboard shortcuts editor and search for the script names. You can then assign shortcuts to the actions you use most.
